The Islamic Society of the Cayman Islands (‘ISCI’) was established to unite and organise the Muslim community of the Cayman Islands. Another of our aims is to provide any possible assitance to the people of the Cayman Islands.
The Muslim community of the Cayman Islands is very small compared to other countries, but the diversity of the community makes up for what it lacks in size.
Over the past year (from late 2012) we have increasd our efforts to bring awareness to the rest of the world that there are Muslims on this small island. The island itself is some 22 miles long by 7 miles wide (at its widest point) – more information on the Cayman Islands can be found here: www.caymanislands.ky
The activities organised by the ISCI cater for all Muslims on the Islands, residents as well as visitors.
The five daily Salaat (Prayers) and the Jummah Salaat are held in congregation at the masjid.
